About Me
Childhood
I was Born and raised in Gaylord, Michigan – a small town about 45 minutes south of where the peninsula’s of Michigan meet. I enjoyed growing up here but always longed for the city. I couldn’t wait to move to a place that offered opportunity for adventure and entertainment.
Career
Graphic Design/Interface/Web Design was a natural fit for me. I grew up loving computers and also having a deeply creative side. Unfortunately, I was never very crafty so it was a relief to find out I could be creative on the computer, sans glue and sissors. I wholeheartedly love what I do and love that I can be an artist and still work in the tech world.
Interests
My interests change on a regular basis just like most people, but currently, I am taking a great interest in health, running, photography, cooking, travel, technology, graphic/web design, house and interior design, shopping/general consumerism, and indie music. I do not like movies or in general, TV, as I have a wicked short attention span.
Other
I’ve been married to a great guy for 10 years and have resided in Northern Virginia for most of that time frame. It took us a while to get a good base of friends out here but I finally feel as though this is our home and where we feel comfortable.
