Jingle Bell 10K / Christmas Cookie Decorating

girls

I love the heading of this post – basically run and eat!

Bill and I woke up at 5:30 a.m. on Dec 13th to the sound of rain and to the thermometer reading 32 degrees. This was the fate for our Jingle Bell 10K in DC. Andria came over at 6 while we finished getting ready and then we picked Trina up at 6:30. We made good time heading into the city but had trouble finding a parking place. We ended up parking over a mile away but it was a good warm up and cool down from the run!

The run itself ended up going well – I overdressed which was perfect and it kept me warm throughout the entire race. I felt like I might die from mile 4.5 on but we all survived! Andria did an awesome job as photographer as you’ll see in the photos. Her support was great and much needed!! We are all back home now and trying to warm up!!

On Friday night, Bill and I hosted a Christmas Cookie Decorating party to bring together our friends (and some family) for a fun festive event! We had a great time being creative and ended the night with a dance party (of course!).

Check out the photos!
